2.   Theological and Pastoral Foundation

Vocation is a gift freely bestowed by God and a grace for the life and mission of the Church. As the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul, we recognize our responsibility to foster, promote, and accompany vocational discernment among children, young people, and families, so that each person may listen attentively to the voice of God and respond generously to His call. Particular attention is given to vocations to priesthood, the consecrated life, and committed lay service. A vibrant and missionary Church is one that prays for vocations and actively nurtures them.

3. General Objective

To promote and consolidate a culture of vocation within the parish community that enables the discovery, discernment, and accompaniment of vocations, especially those that emerge from within our own local Church.

4. Specific Objectives

  • To encourage persevering prayer for vocations as an integral part of parish life.
  • To raise awareness among children, youth, and families regarding the vocational dimension of Christian life.
  • To provide formative, spiritual, and communal spaces conducive to hearing and discerning God’s call.
  • To offer close, personal, and ongoing accompaniment to individuals in vocational discernment processes.
  • To engage the entire parish community in shared responsibility for vocations ministry.
