Letter FOR Families
Year 1-n.1 -December 2022
Light of Faith for a Time of Peace
Dear Beloved Families of Our Parish,
Grace and peace of Christ be with each one of you.
As we enter the month of March 2026, our hearts are turned toward a renewed spirit of faith, unity, and hope. This month, the Holy Father Leo XIV invites us to pray fervently for disarmament and lasting peace in our world, asking that nations choose the path of dialogue, understanding, and diplomacy rather than conflict and violence. May our parish join this prayer, becoming artisans of peace within our homes and our community.
March also holds a cherished place in our spiritual tradition as the Month of Saint Joseph, the humble and faithful protector of the Holy Family. Saint Joseph teaches us the beauty of quiet strength, humility, responsibility, and unwavering trust in God. I encourage every family to entrust your daily life to his intercession—your work, your struggles, your hopes, and your responsibilities—asking him to guide you as he guided the Holy Family with love and fidelity.
Our pastoral theme for this month, “Faith: Path of Dialogue and Peace,” calls us to open our hearts to encounter one another with sincerity and respect. At a time when division can easily enter our society and even our homes, the Lord invites us to choose the better way—the way of listening, compassion, and reconciliation. May our parish continue growing as a community where every person feels welcomed, valued, and loved.
I thank each of you for the many ways you serve, support, and enrich our parish family. Your presence is a blessing, and your faith strengthens our mission. Let us continue walking together as disciples who build peace, nurture hope, and radiate the love of Christ to the world.
May the Lord abundantly bless your families and may Saints Joseph and Francis of Assisi, together with the tender intercession of Saint Mary, Mother of Hope, always accompany you.
With paternal blessing and affection,

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of our family and for the grace You pour into our home each day.
As we enter this month of March, teach us to walk the path of dialogue and peace.
Help us listen with patience, speak with kindness,
and forgive with generous hearts.
Saint Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family,
guide us in our responsibilities, strengthen us in our struggles,
and protect our home with your quiet courage and trust in God.
Mary, Mother of Hope, wrap our family in your tenderness
and lead us closer to your Son.
Lord, make our home a place of welcome, understanding, and love.
Grant us the courage to be peacemakers in our parish,
our community, our Diocese, our Country the Usa, and our world. We entrust this month to You
and ask for Your blessing on our family today and always.
Amen.

Faith and Prayer: Accompanying Our Priests
Dear Beloved Families of Our Parish,
As we begin the month of April, we wish to share a message of faith and hope with you. The Church invites us to unite ourselves with the Holy Father’s prayer intention, praying in a special way for priests who are experiencing moments of crisis in their vocation, that they may find the accompaniment they need and the understanding support of the communities they serve.
The pastoral theme for April 2026 encourages us to live our faith through prayer, accompanying and supporting priests, recognizing their generous service and sustaining them with closeness, respect, and constant prayer.
At the same time, April is the Month of the Blessed Sacrament, a special opportunity to renew our devotion to Jesus truly present in the Eucharist. We invite all families to participate more deeply in Holy Mass, to spend time in Eucharistic adoration, and to strengthen their spiritual life at home.
May every family in our parish pray for a priest of our diocese throughout this month of April. We will make available to you a list of the priests of our diocese, as well as those serving in our local church. Thank you in advance for your generosity and Christian commitment.
With paternal blessing and affection,
Family Prayer Card – April 2026
Lord Jesus,
we thank You for the gift of the Eucharist, the source of our faith and the strength of our Christian life.
We pray for our priests, especially those experiencing moments of difficulty;
grant them comfort, hope, and renewal in their vocation.
May we, as families and as a community, know how to accompany them with prayer, understanding, and fraternal love.
Help us grow in faith, united to You and to one another.
Amen.
